There is stick like test kit where the first urine sample is collected in a cup and the stick is dipped into that cup. If the colour of strip indicated in the test kit changes, then this is the confirmation of your pregnancy.

There is advantage of home pregnancy tests as it gives privacy to woman. Once you are confirmed of your pregnancy then you should consult your doctor and pregnancy was then confirmed by the blood tests. But blood test is more accurate than the urine test. Sometime urine test does not show positive result but at the same time blood test confirm your pregnancy. You are pregnant or not it can be confirmed only after one week of ovulation period. The important thing is that the positive result of home pregnancy tests reduces your tension and prepares you mentally for pregnancy.
